Been a long time

I have been on facebook for the past month or so and have not paid any attention to my blog, shame on me. These days I am not doing much of anything beyond work and family. Christmas was great but I am glad to be home and back into the old routine. At this point I am 37 weeks preg and am extremely uncomfortable. I am ready to have this one. I think with the second child you know more what to expect so you are ready to deliver earlier. I have not enjoyed being pregnant this time around, I think I did last time. My misery might be compounded by the fact that last go around I was put on relaxed bed rest at around 34 weeks, this time I am in the midst of chasing a 3 year old and going through the performance reviews and compensation for 18 employees. Cale has been so funny, he totally understands what is going on. He says stuff like, "mommy, I will put this toy in Tyler's room so when he comes he can play with it", "I will feed Tyler Joseph a bottle but daddy change his diaper", and "I can help when Tyler Joseph comes out of mommy's tummy". I laughed this past Thursday, when I picked Cale up from school, his teacher told me that Cale had told her that Baby Tyler was coming tomorrow, I told her that would be a surprise to mommy! Never the less I did finally pack a bag and throw it in the car before my dr appt on Friday just in case (hey, he told me I had a baby before I knew I was pregnant, you never know). We got a sonogram this week (since last week Tyler was sideways, not head down), he looks good now, head down, and from the measurements around 7 lbs already. No wonder I am uncomfortable! The nursery is all done, nesting has set in, all is in place for his arrival, now we just need him to come!

We can't wait to meet him. If you need a place to take Cale or us to come over when you are in labor, even the middle of the night, give us a call.
